Owners’ Meeting 3rd December 2024

 

A Zoom meeting was held at 18.30 on Tuesday 3rd December for ten Thames Quay owners to discuss the management of the Thames Quay building.

The responses to the four questions were as follows.

 

1. The recent 2025 Service Charge Budget, and Service Charge Demands, which are significantly impacted by the latest 5 Year CAPEX/Reserve Plan.

Agreed that the increase needs to be challenged.

 

2. Employing a professional to help challenge the 5 Year CAPEX/Reserve Plan on the grounds of its quantum, timing and reasonableness.

Agreed that a professional surveyor should be retained – but whether shared with other buildings through the CHRA or solus just for Thames Quay was undecided. A cost estimate for each option to be obtained.

 

3. Whether there is significant interest to follow the approach being adopted

by other Buildings to buy their freehold.

Agreed that buying the freehold should be investigated further.

 

4. The possible formation of a Thames Quay Residents Association

Agreed that formation of a Thames Quay Residents Association should be investigated further.
