Service Charges In Brief

As a leaseholder you will pay various service charges.

 

The charge year runs from October to the following September.

 

The charge is billed in two instalments around October and April.

 

These charges are:

Building Service Charge​

Building Reserve Fund Charge

Village Charge

Car Park​​ Charge

Who Manages What

There are different persons responsible for managing each element of the various Service Charges.

Building Service Charge​ - managed by the Managing Agent (currently Metrus), with input from the Landlord Chelsea Harbour Limited (CHL)

Building Reserve Fund Charge - managed by the Managing Agent (currently Metrus), with input from the Landlord Chelsea Harbour Limited (CHL)

Village Charge - managed by the Landlord Chelsea Harbour Limited (CHL)

​

Car Park​​ Charge - managed by the Landlord Chelsea Harbour Limited (CHL)

Building Service Charge

The Building Service Charge (your share, for your apartment) - covers the annual costs of running your building (staff, utilities, repairs, insurance, management and so on).

Building Reserve Fund

The Building Reserve Fund (your share, for your apartment) is for funding longer-term expenditure which does not take place every year, but may happen every few years - such as lift replacement, external works and so on.

Village Charge

This represents your building's share of the Village Charge (the common parts of the Chelsea Harbour development overall - roads, towpath, access and so on).

Car Park Charge

This is what you pay for your Car Park space(s), being a proportionate share of the whole Car Park.
